Animal Care: GVS hires veterinary technicians (RVT, CVT, LVT), veterinary assistants (trained on-the-job in animal nursing) and patient care floaters (entry-level position unique to GVS for animal nursing) to care for the patients under the direction of a veterinarian. GVS also employs kennel assistants for the physical care of the animals and facility. Business: Candidates for the client services department care for the patient's owners and friends and must have medical office experience or previous experience in a veterinary setting. Administrative: Candidates for any administrative position posted, including human resources, payroll, accounting, transcription and IT, must demonstrate a successful track record in his or her respective field. All FT positions are eligible for medical benefits after the 90 Day Introductory period. Also, GVS offers dental and vision coverage along with a number of self-paid Aflac policies.
