Julie Duval, VMD Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons
Dr. J. Duval joined our surgical team in 2000. She received
her VMD degree and completed her internship at the University Of Pennsylvania
School Of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in surgery
at the University of Georgia. Prior to coming to GVS, Dr. Duval worked at the
University of Pennsylvania and in specialty referral practices in South
Carolina and Missouri.

Alan Cross, DVM Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons
Dr. Cross received his DVM from the University of Tennessee.
He completed both his internship and residency in surgery at the University of
Georgia. Prior to joining the GVS team in 2003, Dr. Cross was a faculty member
of the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

Lori MacDougall, MVSC, DVM
Dr. MacDougall received her DVM degree from the Western
College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Canada in 2001. After completing
internships at Washington State University and Western Veterinary Specialists
Centre, Dr. MacDougall returned to Saskatoon to complete a three year residency
and a Masters of Veterinary Science. She joined the GVS team in 2006.

Kevin Winkler, DVM
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons
The newest member of the surgical team is Dr.
Winkler, who joined GVS in 2007. He
received his DVM degree from the University of Georgia, and completed both his
internship and residency at the University of Illinois. Before coming to GVS,
Dr. Winkler spent more than 10 years focused in the areas of surgery, emergency
and critical care for referral practices in North Carolina and Wisconsin.
