Mr. Big

Mr. Big was just 14 weeks old when his natural exuberance got the best of him. He was up on his owner’s bed when he jumped and fell backwards. “I literally had him in my hands, but he slipped out and backwards, falling off the bed and breaking his leg,” Jane explains. Because Mr. Big was so tiny, surgery was complicated and Jane sought the expertise of orthopedic surgeon Alan Cross, DVM, ACVS. “Even with all my calls and questions, everything was handled with such professionalism and a great deal of compassion,” says Jane. By the way, Mr. Big has recovered well and even has his own set of stairs to help him get up (and down) on the bed.
